A typical charter can catch between 10 - 15 different species. The most common fish on the 4 - 6 hour trips include the following: grey snapper (grunts) porgies, trigger fish, sand perch, lane snapper, small red, gag and scamp grouper, black sea bass, Spanish mackerel, puffers and many other species. The trophies include Goliath Grouper, King Mackerel, Bonita, Great Barracuda and a variety of sharks ranging from 6- 8 feet! Heading further offshore (10-12 hours trips) enables you to catch a greater variety of fish including, mangrove snapper, blackfin tuna, red grouper, amberjacks and red snapper along with other reef snapper. The charter (can) include snorkeling equipment for all guests if you plan on doing a little shelling and island hopping after a couple of hours of fishing. We will head to Egmont Key or Shell Island. St Petersburg Florida Fishing Charters

Did you want to have  a fish drag you around the boat?  Do you want to see your teenage boys get humbled real quick?  This is the trip for you!! On this trip it's all about the big ones!  Our main targets will be goliath grouper and 6-8 foot sharks (the main sharks are sandbar, blacktip, spinner, lemon, nurse and sometimes tiger and hammerheads)  it is also be possible for king mackerel, bonito, cobia and the very occasional sailfish and blackfin tuna!  Great for bachelor parties and even families who have some fishing experience.   Typical seasons are March through August but can be all year.

This a full day 10 - 12 hour (It is listed for 10 hours but depending on the bite and weather I have no problem with 12 hours at no additional charge) 40 to 50 miles offshore for red grouper and red snapper (seasonal).  On these trips you never know what we may catch! We have caught king fish, sailfish, blackfin tuna, amber jacks, mangrove snapper, vermillion and lanes.  While I do not have an age limit it is recommend that these anglers have been offshore before and a little experience bottom fishing.  I love these trips!!
